We'll visit the Capilano Reservoir, the source of Vancouver's drinking water, Grouse Mountain, the Capilano Suspension Bridge, Capilano Fish Hatchery, and we'll cross Vancouver Harbour on the SeaBus (fare included) from Lonsdale Quay Market.

Capilano Suspension Bridge a simple suspension bridge in North Vancouver, British Columbia crossing the Capilano River. The current bridge is 450 feet across and 230 feet above the river. The Capilano Suspension Bridge and Park draws over 800,000 visitors and 450 tour operators a year. As well as the bridge itself and Treetops Adventure, the park also features award-winning gardens, nature trails, North America's largest private collection of First Nations story poles, a gift shop, a cafe and a burger grill, a multimedia display about the park's history, and an educational exhibit about the temperate Rainforest. Also, Nature Guides give ecotours of the rainforest. The park's decor and costumes reflect an 1890s theme, and during the high season, park employees entertain guests with musical performances and skits. Grouse Mountain Skyride Step onboard the famous Grouse Mountain Skyride, and get ready to experience a one-mile journey like no other. High above towering Douglas fir, breathtaking views of the city of Vancouver, sparkling Pacific Ocean, Gulf Islands, and snowy peaks unfold as you journey up the mountainside. Capilano Fish Hatchery The Fish and Salmon Hatchery is designed to restore the dwindling stocks of Coho salmon and Steelhead trout. Each year, Capilano Fish Hatchery produces over 1 million Coho, up to 2.5 million Chinook and 10,000-20,000 Steelhead. Observe one of the great life-cycle stories in nature. During the fall, returning salmon are seen as they make their way up the fish ladders to spawn. Be Sure to wear comfortable walking shoes! 24 HOURS MINIMUM ADVANCE BOOKING REQUIRED.
