The small group Mountain Discovery tour highlights the beauty of Vancouver's North Shore and the coastal temperate rainforest.  Spend your day exploring the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, Grouse Mountain Resort and a bonus stop at the Capilano Salmon Hatchery.

Start the day by learning about the lifecycle of the Pacific Salmon at the Capilano Salmon Hatchery.  This facility, located along the Capilano River, plays a role in the conservation of this species and this light activity takes you into the extraordinary nature surrounding the city.

Rising 1,250 meters (4,100 feet) above Vancouver, Grouse Mountain (admission included) offers a stunning city view and an array of activities.  Perhaps you'll see the resident grizzly bears at the Refuge for Endangered Wildlife on the mountain.  You can have lunch at one of the many dining options (not included in tour price).  With a few hours of free time, take the Peak Chair to the very top of the mountain and for an additional cost, enter the Eye of the Wind, a large wind turbine with an observation platform.

Lastly, at Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, cross the famous suspension bridge spanning a heart-pounding 137 meters (450 feet) across and 73 meters (230 feet) above Capilano River.  Admission is included and make sure to allow time to visit the Treetops Adventure and CliffWalk, as well as the extensive grounds of the park.
